Managing Your Lending Positions

Once you have established a position on Juris Protocol, you can monitor and adjust your investment via the Your Lending Positions section of the dashboard. Use these tools to optimize your yield based on market conditions.

Management Actions

1. Increase Position

Add additional assets to an existing position to increase your share of the liquidity pool.

  • Mechanism: Your potential earnings are automatically recalculated based on your updated contribution relative to the total pool.

  • Strategy: Best used during periods of high utilization to capture increased APR.

2. Decrease Position

Partially withdraw assets without fully exiting the pool.

  • Mechanism: Reclaims a portion of your liquidity while maintaining an active, interest-bearing position with the remaining balance.

  • Strategy: Useful for portfolio rebalancing or reducing risk exposure without losing your place in the pool.

3. Close Position

Terminate your position and withdraw the entire balance (principal + accrued interest).

  • Mechanism: The smart contract releases all funds directly to your connected wallet.

  • Result: Interest accrual stops immediately upon transaction confirmation.

Utilization & APR Tracking

The Details view features a live graph illustrating the relationship between:

  • Utilization Rate: The percentage of the pool currently being borrowed.

  • Lending APR: The interest rate you earn.

[!TIP]

Market Insight: As the utilization rate increases (higher demand), the APR rises automatically. Use the Details graph to identify the optimal "sweet spot" for your lending strategy.
