Staking on Terra Classic allows you to earn yield on your coins, and also grants you voting power on proposals, proportional to the amount of coins staked in total.
Staking yield is paid "in-kind" from the Oracle Pool and the Staking Rewards Pool. This means you will earn more $LUNC coins for staking. You will also earn yield in the stablecoins, which include coins like $USTC.
When you vote, your vote will override whatever your validator votes for, proportional to your stake. If you do not vote, your stake will count for your validator's vote.
Staking will lock your coins to the network until you decide to unstake. Unstaking takes 21 days.
To stake, simply navigate to the Staking tab of your wallet, select the LUNC network, and then search for the Juris Protocol validator.
Select Juris Protocol and then Delegate. Choose how many coins you wish to delegate with us, and then Submit the transaction to the network.
