Setup & Wallet Connection
Onboarding Guide: Accessing the Juris Protocol
This guide outlines the essential steps to configure your digital environment for Juris Protocol. By following these procedures, you will establish a secure gateway to decentralized lending and borrowing on the Terra Classic ($LUNC) blockchain.
Phase 1: Wallet Configuration
Step 1: Install a Compatible DeFi Wallet
Juris Protocol requires a non-custodial wallet to interact with the blockchain.
Recommended: Keplr Wallet (Currently the primary supported interface).
Alternatives: Galaxy Station or LUNC Dash.
Step 2: Create and Secure Your Identity
Follow the prompts to generate a new wallet. You will be provided with a Seed Phrase (typically 12 or 24 words).
CRITICAL SECURITY NOTE: Your seed phrase is the ultimate key to your funds. Store it physically offline. Never share it with anyone, including support staff. Digital copies (screenshots/emails) are vulnerable to compromise.
Step 3: Enhance Security Protocols
For significant holdings, it is highly recommended to:
Link a Hardware Wallet (e.g., Ledger) to your Keplr/Station extension.
Enable biometric or secondary password authentication within the app settings.
Phase 2: Asset Acquisition & Transfer
Step 4: Acquire $LUNC (Native Asset)
To engage with the Juris ecosystem, you must hold $LUNC.
Purchase $LUNC via a reputable Centralized Exchange (CEX) such as Binance or Kraken.
Ensure your exchange account has completed necessary KYC (Know Your Customer) requirements to permit withdrawals.
Step 5: Transfer Assets to Your DeFi Wallet
Move your $LUNC from the exchange to your personal wallet:
Copy your Terra Classic wallet address (starts with
terra1...).Initiate a withdrawal on the exchange.
Validation: Perform a small "test transfer" first to ensure the address and network settings are correct before moving large amounts.
Phase 3: Protocol Integration
Step 6: Connect to the Juris Interface
Navigate to the Juris Protocol Web App and select “Connect Wallet.”
Approve the connection request in your wallet extension.
Once connected, you can manage lending, borrowing, and staking directly from the dashboard.
Step 7: Portfolio Diversification (Optional)
While $LUNC is the primary utility token, Juris Protocol supports a multi-asset strategy:
Swap: Use the internal Juris swap tool to exchange $LUNC for other ecosystem assets.
Bridge: Utilize the IBC (Inter-Blockchain Communication) bridge to bring in assets like $ATOM or $OSMO for use within Juris products.
